Dr. Eric Hsi is Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic. Past positions include Chair of the Department of Pathology and Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Chair of Laboratory Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. He is a hematopathologist with expertise in diagnosis of hematologic malignancy, flow cytometry, and molecular diagnostics related to blood cancers. He has authored or coauthored over 350 peer-reviewed manuscripts and authored a textbook in Hematopathology. Dr. Hsi’s research interests include predictive and prognostic biomarkers, preclinical therapeutic target validation, and correlative science studies related to clinical trials. He has served on national committees for organizations such as the College of American Pathologists, American Society for Clinical Pathology, ALLIANCE for Clinical Trials in Oncology, the American Society for Hematology, and the Society for Hematopathology and has served on scientific advisory boards/panels for organizations such as the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
